Crock Pot Lasagna

 

Ingredients:

 

1 lb. ground beef

1 chopped onion

2 tsp. minced garlic

29 oz. can of tomato sauce or you can use your own homemade sauce

6 oz. can tomato paste (omit if using your homemade sauce)

1 ½ tsp. salt

1 tbs. sugar

12 oz. package of lasagna noodles

12 oz. ricotta

½ cup grated Romano cheese

16 oz. mozzarella cheese (cubed)

 

Directions:

 

Brown chop meat add onions and garlic, add tomato sauce, paste, salt and sugar. Stir until all incorporated. In a bowl mix all the cheeses. Spoon a layer of meat sauce in the crock pot then a layer of uncooked noodles and then cheese. Continue the layers until all ingredients are used. Cover and cook on low heat in the cooker for 6 to 8 hours or high heat for 3-31/2 hours.
