Jd's Mexican Beans
Ingredients: 2 cups dry pinto beans (rinsed) 3 quarts water 4 slices raw bacon 1 tsp. chili powder 1 tsp. paprika 1 tbs. minced garlic In a deep pot, bring the first 6 ingredients to a boil, reduce heat to medium and simmer for 2 1/2 hrs, add water as needed and stir occasionally. Then add: 1 can green chili peppers diced 2 tbs. Louisiana hot sauce 1 large onion chopped and diced 1/4 cup bbq sauce Cook over medium heat an additional hour or until desired consistency Add 2 tsp. sea salt about 10 minutes before done.
