                Mustard Pepper Dip

Ingredients:

2 cups finely chopped hot peppers (leave some chunks as well as some seeds) mix and match the color of peppers to have a colorful dip

1 Tbs. salt

2 cups yellow mustard

1 1/2 cups water

1 qt cider vinegar

6 cups sugar

In a large pot add the peppers, salt, yellow mustard, vinegar and sugar and bring to a boil. As that is starting to boil, in a separate bowl mix together the flour and water and whisk to a nice paste. Once the mustard is boiling, SLOWLY add the flour paste and watch it thicken up as you stir. Once it’s the desired thickness you can simmer it for about 10 minutes.

I have used this mustard with pretzels, cheese and crackers, as a marinade for bbq meats, fish, sandwiches and my favorite on hot dogs.

Hope you enjoy and let me know if you make it and like it!

                      Thank You Dave
